The Entertainers 20th anniversary game
Alan Shearer will manage Newcastle one last time on Sunday October 9 when his Newcastle Legends team faces Keith Gillespie’s Manchester Select at Kingston Park Stadium.
The 1.30pm kick-off, in aid of the Alan Shearer Foundation, falls almost 20 years to the day since Newcastle United’s famous 5-0 thrashing of Manchester United.
Kingston Park Stadium (capacity 10,200) is the home of Premiership rugby union club Newcastle Falcons, boasting a state-of-the-art synthetic pitch as well as standing and seated vantage points for supporters.
Adult tickets are priced from £10 with junior tickets from £5, Shearer taking charge of a Newcastle side against a team put together by former Newcastle and Manchester United winger Gillespie.
