The hosts also what appeared to be a winner ruled out by VAR in stoppage time. Olivier Giroud added to his side's woes by getting himself sent off in stoppage time. Rossoneri Keep Knock Out Hopes AliveAC Milan came back from being a goal down in 9 minutes to record a 2:1 win against PSG through goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud.
Milan Skriniar had opened the scoring for PSG, heading in at the back post, but Leao equalised on 15 minutes with an overhead kick before Giroud’s thunderous header on 50 minutes put the Rossoneri ahead. The win means last season's semi-finalists Milan remain in contention to reach the knockout stages when they face Dortmund in game 5 on 28 November. It' s Win or Bust for AC MilanTheo Hernandez and Christian Pulisic will return to action against PSG after missing Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Udinese but Pierre Kalulu and Simon Kjaer bothmiss out through injury in what is a must win game for the Rossenari if they want to keep their hopes of moving into the next stages of the champions league alive. However, the big talking point back in Milan is the imminent return to the club of a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a capacity yet to be determined.
Fourth Straight Defeat for AC MilanAC Milan suffered the indignity of a home defeat to lowly Udinese in Serie A at San Siro on Saturday, as they went down 1:0 and in doing so extended their winless run to four games in all competitions and leaving them six points adrift of top spot.
'Clearly we didn't play a game on a good level, and going forward it became more and more difficult,' Pioli told DAZN. 'In the first half we had some good chances but it was the worst game of this recent period. We struggled to find space, and we conceded a penalty on which the opponent took home the win. AC Milan Spark Fails To Ignite in ParisAC Milan remain winless in Europe this season and are bottom of Group F, with two points from their opening three matches following their 3:0 defeat to PSG.
Milan Head coach Stefano Pioli stated after the game that he believed his side performed better than PSG for most of the first half, but the harsh reality was that his side never really gained a foothold in the game and were roundly beaten by the French Champions; who truthfully could and should have won by more than the 3:0 that the game ended on. AC Milan fall to the Old LadyAC Milan went down to a 1:0 home defeat to Juventus on Saturday as a Manuel Locatelli goal in the 67th proved the difference between the two sides in a game that saw AC play the second half with only 10 men after Malick Thiew received a straight red. The result saw Juventus move up to third place in Serie A while AC remained in second place on 20 points; one point behind leaders Inter on 21.

The American's 87th-minute strike sends Rossoneri top going into the international break. Tomori Shines as Milan and Dortmund Share the SpoilsFikayo TomorI once again produced a gritty and effective performance on this the most prestigious stage. Tomori continued where he left off in game one against Newcastle Utd displaying all of his best qualities in a MOTM performance. However, a second 0:0 draw in Dortmund failed to give the Rossoneri the lift in the competition that they were looking for, although things could have been much different if they had taken their chances.
Milan Ready for Dortmund ChallengeAC Milan are without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Pierre Kalulu and Yacine Adli for tonights visit to Dortmund with Tomasso Pobega and Yunus Musah expected to get the nod in the middle of the park alongside Tijjani Reijnders, with Malick Thiaw joining Fikayo Tomori in central defence in place of Kalulu.
No changes are expected in attack with Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic all expected to start. Speaking ahead of the game Milan’s French world cup winner Olivier Giroud said "We want to do well in this second Champions League match, to do better than what we did against Newcastle. It won’t be a decisive match, but it will be very important. "We have changed many players and strengthened the team, we want to play in both competitions, the Champions League and the league, in a great way. We have more quality than last year. We must have the mix of youth and experience, we have it and this gives us confidence Milan continue that winning feelingA resourceful AC Milan saw off their roman visitors Lazio on Saturday as they ran out 2:0 winners with goals from Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor.
However it wasn’t all plain sailing as Milan look to be without Ruben Loftus Cheek for an extended period after he hobbled off midway through the first half. The result moved Milan temporarily to the top of Serie A, before bitter rivals Inter went back to the top spot on goal difference following their 4-0 win at Salernitana later in the day. AC Milan 1:0 Hellas VeronaAC Milan got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, seeing off Hellas Verona at the San Siro. The only goal of the game came from Rafael Leao with a neat finish midway through the first half after being put through by Olivier Giroud. However, it was a very lacklustre affair from both sides in a game that struggled to generate any excitement after a delayed kick off due to a severe downpour saw the starting some 25 minutes late.

Pioli Rues Missed Chances
"We're disappointed, because when you play like this, you have to win," they were the initial thoughts of Milan manager Stefano Pioli after his side were held to a nil nil draw against Newcastle United on Tuesday night.
"The performance was all-round good, but we wanted to win. Our aim is to progress from this group and we wanted to start well. We didn't take easy chances."
Milan, who ended the night with a tally of 25 shots, were also dealt a double injury blow with midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and keeper Mike Maignan both forced off and looking doubtful for Saturday's visit of Verona.

AC Milan Put To the Sword In Milan Derby
It was a case of down to earth with a bump for AC Milan as rivals Inter put them to the sword at the San Siro in the Milan Derby on Sunday evening.
Goals from Henrik Mkhitaryan and Marcus Thuram put Inter into a two-goal lead inside 38 minutes before Rafael Leao pulled one back for AC Milan on the 57th minute.
However, any hope of a comeback was put firmly to bed when Mkhitaryan got his second on 69 minutes before Calhanoglu slotted home from the penalty spot after Lautaro Martinez was brought down in the penalty area by Theo Hernandez.
Substitute Davide Frattesi finished things off in time added on when he tapped home from a pass by the ever-threatening Mkhitaryan.
Milan were restricted to just two shots on target and just couldn't cope with Inter's pace and clinical finishing.
This was Inter’s fifth successive derby win; a stat that Milan supporters will not want to ponder on

AC Milan: Season to Date
It was quite an emotional close season for Milan supporters following their elimination from the champions league in the semi finals at the hands of local rivals Internazionale, who also pipped them for third place in Serie A by two points.
First came the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was hanging up his boots at the age of 41. This was followed by the sudden departure of Sandro Tonali. We all know where Sandro landed!
In total 20 players departed while Milan added eleven new players to their squad. They are Luka Jovic, Marco Pellegrino, Yunus Musah, Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Marco Sportiello
Milan started their Serie A campaign with an away fixture at Bologna; something of a happy hunting ground for the Rossoneri where they are unbeaten in their last 17 visits going back to March 2022.
Three new faces featured in the starting eleven, with former Chelsea stars Reuben Loftus Cheek and Christian Pulisic joining Tijjani Reijnders while two other new signings, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze made the bench.
Indeed, four former Chelsea players are now part of the Milan first team squad as Pulicic, and Loftus cheek join former teammates Fiyako Tomori and Olivier Giroud in the Italian fashion capital.
And the happy hunting ground proved to be exactly that with goals from Giroud and Pulisic handing Milan all three points.
Next up was a home fixture against Torino and Pulisic and Giroud were on the scoresheet with the latter scoring twice from the penalty spot as Milan ran out 4:1 winners; the other goal coming from Theo Hernandez.
A trip to the capital was next, to face Roma and against Giroud was on hand from the penalty spot. Rafael Leao scored Milan’s second before Leonardo Spinazzola got a consolation for the hosts in the 92nd minute.
Milan sit joint top of Serie A after three games; kept off top spot on goal difference by Inter. Both teams have won all three of their opening fixtures scoring eight goals but while Milan have conceded two, Internazionale have yet to concede a goal.
Milan face their biggest test of the season with a home tie against Inter Milan on 15th September before their Champions League campaign starts with that home tie that we are all looking forward to when Newcastle Utd arrive at the San Siro.
For anyone confused by the two Milan club names the full title of the Rossoneri (the Red and Blacks) is Associazione Calcio Milan, commonly referred to as AC Milan or simply Milan while their rivals are called Football Club Internazionale Milano, commonly referred to as Internazionale or simply Inter, and colloquially known as Inter Milan and their nickname is I Nerazzurri (The Black and Blues).
